Sale Horses
I seem to make a hobby out of searching the web for horses that are for sale in this area. TheGoodHorse.com will be a place to pull together these horses that I have found and get them on the web for easy viewing for those who are looking for the perfect horse.
These ads will be for free to sellers whose horse is priced under $10,000. Each ad will have the sellers direct email link, or will email me if the owner is not available.
To further my goal for this site, I hope to reach those people who need help in selling. Maybe they don't have the technology or the time to sell their horse as best they can. I am set up and willing to take the digital photos and videos of the horse myself. I will place the best photo of your horse on this site, provide you a copy of a sale video, and then help create an accurate description of your horse that you may use in any advertisement you desire. All for FREE. This is a hobby for me, and a service to you.
If you already have the photos and accurate description of your horse, and would like to list on this site, then just email me that information and I will add your horse for no charge as well.
I promise to generate traffic to my site by advertising at local horse shows, tack stores, word of mouth, and paper mailers. I believe my calendar of events will draw traffic from all kinds of horse owners and riders.

Vac 'N Blo Floor Model Vacuum with Attachments |
4.0 Peak HP Vac N Blo unit on wheels. Permanent Cloth Bag, Shoulder Strap, Two 6 Ft Flexible Hoses w/Air Flow Control, Air Concentrator, Air Flare, Groomer Rake, 3 piece Brush/Comb Set, (Grooming Brush, Curry Comb, Pin Comb). 3 Disposable Bags. Metro Horse Vacuums are covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s warrantee. |
I have wanted one for years and now with so many horses it made sense to get one. After having it for two weeks and using it almost every day.. I cant live without it. All the horses love it, even Nebu. It took about 60 seconds for all the horses to accept it. It comes with all the attachments you see above and all of them are useful. I actually can not wait for the shedding season! I got the Pro model because I wanted the vacuum to sit on the floor and not rest on my shoulder. It was $189 plus $10 shipping. The best price I found was at www.americanvetsupply.com
My New Favorite Product: Omega Fields Horseshine
I wanted something to help my horses feet, coat and since I have some silt in my well, I wanted something to help "flush" them out. I found this product at Tractor Supply and at $32 for a huge bag, I thought I would give it a try. I am now on my third bag- one bag lasts 30 days for 7 horses. I feed 1/2cup per day to each horse. This is a scoop in the AM and PM feedings. All the horses eat it and only Nebu picked around it for the first two days. My horses have dapples even with their long winter coats, they all look very healthy and I am impressed with the amount of hoof growth they have all experienced. I will continue to use this product and would recommed it to anyone.

MY NEW FAVORITE THING FOR THIS MONTH- 2/2008

George Morris 3 Day Advanced Jumping and Equitation Clinic DVD; Over four hours of superb tuition for you to enjoy from legendary US Chef d'Equipe and trainer of multiple Olympians, on everything from advanced showjumping to equitation.
This dvd is not really for beginners, but it would not hurt anyone of any skill level to watch it. You have to understand that Morris is not for the faint of heart, but you will learn a lot. While it is $79.95, you would have to pay hundreds more to attend his clinic. I bought this on Ebay but the person has a website with tons of new DVDs. Check it out:

My New Favorite Thing- July 2008

My new custom made farm sign by
www.springvalleysigns.com has to be one of the coolest things I have bought in a long time. This is what I purchased for under $700 with the money I recieved for my birthday this year. It is made of HDU (High Density Urathane)
"It feels and carves like wood. When covered with paint you would never know it was not a wooden sign" Its also lighter than it looks. They were able to take a photo of Nebulous and place it on the sign, then carve it for me with custom colors and message. I talked with
Reuben Mow once and we emailed back and forth a few times. I had this sign at my door within a few weeks.
My New Favorite Thing- September 2008
Riding at Dupont Forest.
Be sure to buy a map- Liberty Bicycles or other outdoor sports stores ($10.00- which goes to the park as a donation)or print one off their website!. Once you are there the trails are well maintained and most are a car width wide. There are tie out areas- so wear your halter. They even have mounting blocks at these tie out areas for those of us with ground mounting disabilities. We rode for over 4 hours and never had to get on the same trail twice. We saw three waterfalls and took our lunch for a nice change. Besides the map- its all Free!! Dont miss this. You must give it a try. But I warn you- without the map- its not as much fun. You will get lost. See you there. Dupont Horse Trails

* As You Like It" (Kona)
16 hh, 17 y.o. OT Thoroughbred mare. Knows through upper 2nd level/ lower 3rd level dressage. Prefer a dressage home, but we will consider others. Does go Western as well. She is a pretty mover- smooth walk/trot/canter and jumps. Kona isn't spooky, and she is good on trails. She clips and loads just fine. She is barefoot and just waiting for the perfect person. Selling because she is too much horse for her current owner, and there's just no time. She is out-of-condition and still furry as we did not blanket her this winter. She is looking for a soft rider with experience (no beginners, please) as she can be very quick. UTD on all vet work/coggins. Vet checks welcomed. Video and several more photos available upon request. $950 to approved home and facility. Option to lease is available.
